Custom Orders Policy
Rules for made-to-order products, quotations, artwork, approvals, manufacturing variations, cancellations, reorders, care, and safe use.
Nature of custom orders
Last updated October 12, 2026. HoOp Customized produces made-to-order commercial rugs and mats. Products may include business logos, brand colors, custom dimensions or shapes, messages, artwork, specialty materials, commercial-use specifications, edge finishes, and backing or anti-slip options.
Quotes and project changes
A quote may consider size, quantity, material, design complexity, color count, production technique, delivery location, requested timeline, packaging, and additional services. Quotes are estimates until HoOp confirms them in writing, and pricing may change when project specifications change.
A quote request is not an order. Production starts only after required information, approvals, and payment are received.
Artwork and design assistance
Customers should provide clear, usable artwork. Preferred formats may include vector, PDF, AI, EPS, SVG, and high-resolution PNG files with a transparent background. Screenshots, blurry logos, compressed files, and incomplete files may require more work and may affect appearance.
HoOp may provide basic assistance or mockups. Complex design, brand recreation, logo tracing, layout creation, or advanced editing may require additional fees. Design support does not transfer ownership of HoOp templates, internal production files, methods, or proprietary processes.
Approval and accuracy
Before production, HoOp may require approval of a mockup, proof, specifications, invoice, or production summary covering placement, spelling, colors, dimensions, orientation, quantity, product type, material, edge style, and delivery information. Customers must also verify grammar, phone numbers, URLs, business names, social handles, and QR codes when used. Approved designs are final; later changes may be unavailable, cost more, or extend timing. HoOp is not responsible for customer-approved errors.
Color and manufacturing tolerances
Exact color matching is not always guaranteed because of screens, materials, dyes or printing, lighting, file profiles, production methods, texture, and supplier batches. Customers needing close matching should provide Pantone, HEX, CMYK, RGB, or physical references when available, while minor variation may still occur. Small differences in dimensions, borders, alignment, thickness, texture, and finishing are normal when they stay within reasonable manufacturing tolerance and do not materially affect function or quality.
Cancellations and reorders
A custom order may not be canceled after production starts. Before production, HoOp may review a request and may charge for completed design work, ordered materials, administration, preparation, or supplier commitments. For reorders, prior files or specifications may be used when available, but customers must reconfirm all details. Materials, colors, suppliers, and production methods can change, so a reorder may differ slightly from the original.
Use, placement, and cleaning
Performance depends on the selected material and backing, placement, traffic, environment, and maintenance. Place products on a clean, dry, flat, stable surface free of dust and sharp debris and suitable for the backing and pedestrian traffic. General care may include vacuuming, removing loose debris, appropriate spot cleaning, mild solutions, limited moisture, full drying, and product-specific instructions. Test cleaners in a small area. Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, strong solvents, abrasive brushes, high heat, excessive soaking, unapproved industrial cleaners, and pressure washing unless the product is approved for it.
Wear, safety, outdoor use, and storage
Normal commercial wear varies with traffic, weather, dirt, cleaning frequency, friction, moisture, sunlight, equipment, footwear, and indoor or outdoor placement and is not a manufacturing defect. Customers must keep products flat and dry, monitor edges and wear, replace damaged products, prevent trip hazards, and verify floor compatibility. HoOp is not responsible for accidents caused by improper placement, insufficient maintenance, unsuitable surfaces, or continued use of damaged products. Outdoor use requires a suitable material and may accelerate wear from UV, rain, snow, mud, temperature changes, wind, chemicals, salt, or heavy dirt. Store products clean, dry, properly rolled when appropriate, away from heat and sharp objects, without heavy loads that deform them.
